Marseille : Sofitel Vieux Port

Hey beauties,

I’m back and more motivated than ever. First, I got this idea last week to come back and write again for real. I’ve missed my blog and you guys really much. I was very preoccupied by my Instagram as I wanted to reach a certain number of followers. Things are working pretty well and starting to get better every day. I couldn’t be more happy about what’s happening. New collaborations, meeting new adorable people… So a HUGE thank you first of all for all your support, all your messages… Don’t hesitate to send me a message on Instagram (@natachaslifestyle), I will give an answer to your questions really really quickly.

Secondly, I’ve decided to talk about a very beautiful hotel. I’ve spent an incredible week-end with my sister, her husband and my nephew in Marseille. As you might all know, I come from Monaco and I study in Aix-en-Provence but… I’ve never been to Marseille before. Shame on me. Therefore, thanks to my sister, I got the opportunity to go in a wonderful and beautiful hotel : Sofitel Vieux Port. Staff members are of an incredible kindness, always smiling and there if you need something. It’s such a pleasure to be welcomed by professional people who know how to be friendly. I’m not disappointed at all by this. From the first minute to the end of my week-end, every single second was amazing.

As far as the food is concerned, this is perhaps the most important thing to highlight. As my sister and her husband decided to go out for the night, I stayed at the hotel with my nephew. We tried the Room Service as we were both tired and exhausted because we spent the day walking in Marseille around the « Vieux Port ». As I’m veggie, I chose the quinoa salad served with a chili sauce and my nephew, gourmet as he is, chose a burger which looked really delicious (except from the red meat there was inside but this is just a question of tastes and choices – for those who do eat meat, you might love it).

Concerning the bedding, one word : WOW. When I woke up this morning, I was about to go and ask for the brand of the bed. I’ve never had such an amazing sleep. I think this is so important to not look only at the coverage but also at the comfort.

We immediately took the lift and had our breakfast on the 7th floor. As soon as we arrived at the top, we could admire the view. It is totally worth it !
Moreover, in terms of breakfast, they probably couldn’t do something better. I’m lactose intolerant and I don’t eat meat but for those as I said previously who like eating any meat or cheese, you have a large choice. And for those who are like me and love fruits, salmon, bread, there was also many things. I didn’t know which way to look at and what to choose. Everything looked so delicious.

So, here’s some pictures. I recommend this hotel to everyone without hesitancy.

Lots of love.
